Charging for water has to be my #1 restaurant pricing peeve. I assume they charge for chips and salsa too. If a restaurant charges for water, they may as well also charge for extra napkins, ketchup, butter and coffee creamer.
At Dobie Theater, they charge ~$3 for a teeny little bottle of water. Corporate policy, no doubt. But the staff is kind enough that if you inquire about tap water they’ll give you a teenier little paper cup for free. Best, though, is that if you say you’re really thirsty they’ll turn a blind eye to your carrying in an extra-large fountain cup of water from one of the food court places, also free if you play your cards right. Yeah!
What I want to know is, what church does Pastor Bongo preach at?
