In Three Way AZ. Wonder how it got that name. Descended a 7% grade for miles, with grasshoppers jumping all over me. Insane.

In Safford AZ. Whipped.

Weird. In my hotel room, my phone showed “no service” when I went to bed. Now I’m getting 1 bar. Oops, back to no service as I type this.

In Globe AZ. Stopping after a short but mountainous day. Really serious mountains still to come.

Spotted a plain sign today that read TURTLE COLLISION. I had to spend a few seconds figuring out what they really meant by that.

Saw a hand-painted sign offering ESTEREO REPAIR. That just perpetuates estereotypes.
